Oscar Scientific was founded by Yugesh Sinha, a life science consultant who has spent more than two and a half decades — since 1998 — bridging the bench and the enterprise. He has watched laboratories transform from paper notebooks and siloed instruments to connected, cloud-based, AI-ready informatics, and has helped lead that change first-hand. Starting as a research scientist at GlaxoSmithKline — where he drove the move from paper to electronic lab notebooks — Yugesh has built his career translating how scientists actually work into compliant, scalable digital systems.
He has led laboratory informatics and digital transformation programmes for GSK, AstraZeneca, Eli Lilly and Roche, combining deep scientific domain knowledge with proven programme delivery — vendor selection, requirements, validation, data migration and change management.
His ambition for Oscar Scientific is clear: to grow it from a senior independent practice into a specialist delivery consultancy that mobilises expert teams on the transformation programmes shaping modern life science. That dual fluency — science and systems — is the foundation everything is built on.
